Buy Elder Scrolls 5? Why? I’ll tell you why. You can believe me when I say there are many reasons. I would say the one thing that sticks out the most, and makes it so good is Skyrim’s dynamism!

What am I talking about here? The one word, other than dynamic, would be organic, when explaining this game. It will grow to be a part of you, and through you. It will become what you want it to become.

The old Fallout 3 engine, a great game, has been totally rewritten by the development team. They call it the Creation engine.

So what can this engine do? A lot! It creates a realistic and intricately dynamic world. It creates real-time weather systems, intricate detail in vegetation, and wind in the branches of trees, or wind swept channels on the water.

The mountains in the distance are not just cheap backdrops. Indeed not. You can really climb right up on top of them.

Self thinking NPCs, infinite dragons that can show up at anytime and attack the city, is the result of the dynamic Radiant Story AI which brings that much more realism to the game. NPCs have a life of their own and will fight over the loot you drop.

So what this boils down to is that the world you play in, and the story it tells will change, quests, and NPCs, will adapt to the choices you make in the game. For each player the story will be different.

The introduction of dual wielding is cool. You can use metal with magic, or knives and hammers. You can combine any weapon, and if you use both of the same weapon that will give your attacks even more power.

I think this is a first in an RPG: now you can dynamically develop any character. Create the skill set for that character using perks. You are no longer stuck with a guardian, or a Mage, or a captain, thief etc, now you can combine skills. Do you want to create a thief wizard? How about a wizard assassin, or guardian captain, anything goes here.

You can completely ignore the main quest lines and stroll in any direction, and you will find something to do. The developers love the little things as much as the big things. A lot of attention has been put into every little detail. So collecting things, or killing animals for their hides has meaning in the game.

I would like to tell you more but there is not enough time. If you are not sold on it yet, than maybe you are not an RPG player. That's OK, even none RPG players are buying this game.
