Variations Of Blackjack

One of the world’s most popular casino games is blackjack and it is played by all kinds of people. From the casual holidaymaker in Vegas to the enthusiastic player who plays online blackjack several times a week, most people love the game.

There are lots of versions of the game though, especially online, this is something that a lot of people do not understand. The version that is most common is something that I would call ‘regular blackjack’ most land based casinos offer this and online casinos too.

The aim of this game is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over it, just like any other blackjack game out there. The dealer follows the rule of hitting on 16 or under and stands on 17 or over. We will now look at some of the versions of blackjack available.

A game that is offered by software provider Playtech is called Lucky Blackjack although I’m not sure if it’s offered in land based casinos. This game is different from all other blackjack games out there because players receive no cards at all.

The dealer draws cards as normal and you need to guess what you think they will get. You can choose between 17 and 21, then blackjack and bust. There are different odds for every results, so the pay outs differ too.

There is another game called blackjack switch available. With this one, you do not have one hand of cards you have two. You’re able to switch cards from one hand to another and that’s where the name blackjack switch comes from.

Doing this is very handy because you can switch them around if you have a good card on one hand and a bad card on the other. If you often play blackjack either on the internet or in a casino, you should try out these games as they are something different.
